MEET THE

PILGRIMAGE PROJECT

We are passionate about Israel and we’re even more passionate about people experiencing Israel! That’s why we created an educational travel grant that helps anyone visit Israel without worrying about the cost of a plane ticket. We offer this to Bible-believing, Israel-loving Christians who are looking to deepen their faith and grow in their walk. If that sounds like you then you’re in the right place!

Here’s how it works.
Fill out our travel grant application to see if you’re eligible.
Once you’re approved, we’ll have you sign a few documents to make it official.
After you book your flight you’ll send us the ticket receipt and we’ll send you a reimbursement.
It’s really that simple.

Jerusalem with our daughters one day. This trip

QUESTIONS

As long as this is the first trip for at least one person in your group, that’s fine! We often encounter situations where an individual has visited Israel, sometimes as a young adult, and now wants their entire family to experience the Holy Land.
As we develop and expand our website, we will provide sample itineraries for a trip to Israel and recommendations for lodging, activities, and transportation. Feel free to reach out to us in the meantime with any specific questions!
The Pilgrimage Project application gives us all the details about your family and your travel plans. We filter applications through a review process to ensure our grant money goes to the most deserving recipients. Once approved, you simply send us the receipt after purchasing your airfare. Our travel grants are issued within 7 business days.
We issue grants at the discretion of our board of directors. While there is not technically a cap on the number of tickets, we may choose to approve a certain dollar amount if the ticket number is unusually high. We also have a $1,500 per person cap.
We cover up to $1,500 per person, depending on the specifics of your reimbursement agreement.
Definitely not! There are a few organizations, like Taglit Birthright Israel, who allow anyone Jewish to take a free trip to Israel. We couldn’t find anything like this available for Christians, which is one of the reasons we started the Pilgrimage Project! We are passionate about creating opportunities for every Bible-believer to visit the Holy Land.
Possibly. Go ahead and submit an application, but make sure you indicate that you have already purchased airfare. We will review your application and make a determination based on the information and your reasons for requested a Pilgrimage Project travel grant.
